Our Neophema Parrot Mix has been created to ensure a well rounded diet for this genus of grass parrots from Australia. Our recipe has 9 different ingredients to create a nutrititional daily feed. The Neophema Parrots need a mixture of millets and canary seed in particular to make up their daily diet, and can also be fed a range of other greens, such as milk thistle, dandelions and seeding grasses, as well as a good quality grit and cuttlefish. All our ingredients are cleaned by hand on site in our family run mill in Norfolk, where we have been specialising in bird feed for over 30 years.
Description
Neophema Parrot Mix is a complementary caged bird food.
Composition: White and yellow millet, plain canary seed, groats, safflower, linseed, red millet, niger, hemp, buckwheat and aniseed oil.
Analytical Constituents: Crude protein 14.5%, crude fat 9%, crude fibre 7%, crude ash 4%
Feeding Guide: Refill seed for your Neophema Parrots as needed after cleaning away any unwanted debris. Always provide fresh, clean drinking water.
Store bag in a cool and dry place.

Safflower Seeds
Safflower Seeds are actually a member of the thistle family, despite resembling the sunflower seeds in appearance and their nutritional composition.
Perilla – 1kg
Perilla is an excellent seed for conditioning, it contains around 40% fat and is a great source of omenga-3, 6 and 9 fatty acids.
It can be fed all year round and a small increase in quantities offered is excellent for your birds during the moult.
Mixed Millet
Mixed Millet is a versatile mix of four different millet types and is used by many bird breeders as a complementary caged bird food, particularly smaller breeds like Budgies and Finches. It is also a great wild bird attractor, used as a broadcast feed or add to your usual mix. Always clean out feeders before refilling them and hang any wildbird feeders away from predators. Always provide fresh drinking water.
Black Rapeseed – 20kg
Black rapeseed is an oily seed and as such is very high in fats. It is used in a variety of seed mixes for both wildbirds and smaller aviary birds like canaries.

Pinhead Oatmeal
Pinhead Oatmeal is the term used for delicious chopped naked oats, high in protein, oil rich and ideal for soft billed birds like robins and blackbirds. Great for ground feeders, with no waste!
